One of my fav games from childhood that sadly cannot be acquired legally at this point. Managed to get an old ISO image, but the performance was not ideal on Win10, required a lot of tinkering for it to work - until it just broke. Would be great to relive the best memories from childhood in a legal way without risking losing all the saves at random.

Very fun game, with cool and interesting challanges that played well with the mechanics and fantastic map editor. My favourite mechanic was how male and female units from each faction could breed and their kids would be a unit from either one of the other faction, this allowed for some really fun strats. I played this game so much back in the day.

Unfortunately, these games are the most vulnerable to be extinct, even with a dreamlist like this, the most populat games will get upvoted, and sadly this game wasn't one of them. Its a beautiful game that deserves to be properly preserved. It has so many unique races and interactions, that will be lost.
Gra miała w mojej opinii mocno innowacyjne podejście do ekonomii i kilka innych ciekawych elementów, część strategiczna nieco gożej. Brak mocniej zróżnicowanych jednostek. Mmmm... Grał bym.
One of the first video games I played as a child. My mom saw this in a shop and bought it for me, not knowing what it was. I was confused and couldn't really figure out how to play, but I remember loving the music and atmosphere of the game. I'd love to play it now that I'm an adult and could finally figure it out.
This was my first RTS game, ever. All the unique mechanics it taught me made me feel like a professional when it came to more modern but more simplistic RTS games later on. It made me feel someone who could be a professional. Not to mention the game's atmosphere, wonderful music and cool graphics (at the time). And the feeling when I've won a game was marvelous. Truly an achievement.

This was at times my friend and my favorite rts game. I bet we didn't even understand all the mechanics of the game back then, because we were only children, but it would be so cool to relive this now as an adult. I don't know if I even own the CD-R somewhere
I used to play this almost daily when I was a teen. I remember the races; giants, human, dwarves, etc. I remember just vibing to this game. I really want to be able to play it again! It would literally make me cry.
Those games also need your vote!
Black & White

Your actions decide whether you create a heaven or hell for your worshipers. Then select a creature from the land to act as your representative in the world. Raise it to gigantic proportions and teach it to do your bidding--whether the animal grows into an evil colossus of mass destruction or a kind and gentle giant is up to you. Progress through the game's rich storyline performing powerful miracles to battle other deities and become the world's supreme god.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.

As the player progresses, his troops are equipped with weapons from "crysknives" to atomics, tap into Paul's latent psychic powers, and get acquainted with such characters from the book as Chani and Liet-Kynes.
