A versão HD infelizmente roda muito mal no meu pc. Tenho a versão "generica". Gog pelo amor de Deus, queremos jogar o jogo original, sem problemas nos sistemas atuais e com atualização. Faz esse favor para gente.
The 2007 PC version of Resident Evil 4 holds a special place in gaming history. It was the first official PC port of one of the most groundbreaking survival horror games ever made. Though later versions improved visuals and controls, the original 2007 release represents a raw, authentic, and nostalgic experience for many longtime fans. Why it belongs on GOG: • Historical Value: The 2007 PC version was the foundation for later ports—it’s part of RE4’s legacy. • Nostalgia: Despite its quirks, many fans fondly remember its old-school interface, menus, and feel. • Modding Roots: It sparked an active modding community that brought widescreen support, HD textures, and more. • Preservation: GOG is known for reviving older PC games that deserve a second chance—this version fits perfectly. • DRM-Free Access: GOG would give fans true ownership, playable offline and preserved for years to come. Resident Evil 4 (2007) may not be the most polished version, but it’s a piece of PC gaming history that deserves to be remembered and made available—especially on a platform like GOG, which respects the legacy of classic games.
Me and my brother grew up playing this and well I only saw him in the weekends and we spent prolly 6 or 7 months of playing the game Friday and Saturday night to beat it, and I played this version of the game on steam and tbh no drm beside well needing the steam app but I would love to be able to play the game without anything but the game files.

What made this game unforgettable? Who did you play this game with? What made it fun or challenging? Why do you want this game on GOG? i want this game for free drm 3
i love this game one of the best game i ever played in PlayStation not i will have a chance to play it on my laptop i really admire the effort that GOG for making it possible thanks.
a quintessential "good old game", it's influence and themes echo in the industry as loud as a thunder and even to this day, 20 years later we're still talking about it and how near perfect it is. It is one of the most ported games for a reason and it deserves to be in GOG for that same reason.

Flawless widscreen helps to make old games new again, like GOG, by allowing an easy to use interface, for fixing aspects of older games that may not work on newer displays. I just purchased The Evil Within and i'm now playing with a FOV of 25, which helps to make older games playable for players like me, that can not stand super close cameras over a characters shoulder, hence the vote for RE4 to join GOG. I just discovered this program today and im blown away by how easy it was to adjust this aspect and many others, on the fly, while running the game. I think GOG should reach out to the creators of this program and figure a way to work together and advertise a merge and key points that make GOG games even better for new displays and the options flawless widescreen fixes. By the way, since Steam likes to drop support for older operating systems and I see they have become a run away train with the idea, I'm slowly switching to GOG and rebuying my entire catalog here, so i can do away with Steam and their stance i wholeheartedly disagree with. Thanks for continuing to support the older OS's.
As a kid I could never figure out the controls to old Resident Evil games, so Resident Evil 4 was a complete game changer with it's incredible gameplay and sense of humor. Regarded as one of the absolute best of the entire series, and even one of the best games ever.
I still wonder how i was able to aim in this game so well just using WASD, i had great times with both the HD and this version but lets face it this one can run on a fridge and just that alone makes me wanna have it, honestly if it wasn't for that i wouldn't ever had played it back in the day on my toasty centrino laptop. This one needs to be preserved more than the HD, don't get me wrong i want both on GOG but this one should be the first in my opinion.
Resident Evil 4 is easily over all games Top 5 Playstation 2 game. If it becomes a purchaseable GOG game it also should be playable on Amazon Luna ...Forever! POSITIVES - BELOW Resident Evil 4 blew my mind as the first game to add more than would be expected >game completion rewards< usable the Next time you play = >start a new round< + your cash, weapons, + other valuables carry over per unlimited rounds. POSITIVES BELOW - 3 Hero + 3 "Ashley" outfits to progress in. - High Score timed enemy run + shoot + strike kill challenge with 5 game characters. - Plenty interesting guns with numerous earned customization possibilities. - Female character = "Ada" side story mission with unlimited carryover rounds. - Relatable Useful cinemas especially throughout the main story.
