I'm not a soccer fan, I hate EA FIFA (FUT) and I don't have much love for competitive online games like Rocket League. But this game really is something and now I'm just spending an ungodly amount of time playing 3v3 and ranked 5v5 and I did not expect I would like a competitive game that much. The controls feel right, the graphics have an artistic flair and it's just damn fun. Some early bugs and gameplay imbalances, as expected, but nothing the dev is unwilling to fix. I hope they will one day enable privately hosted lobbies and allow us to keep the game for ourselves because it would pain my friends and me to see that one go after all the fun and laughs.
