This was my entry into sci-fi 1st person retro shooters growing up. The OST is absolutely phenomenal and the gameplay and level design was top-notch. I actually still own this game on CD and play it here and there when I can. I wasn't able to play online or use the Intel MMX growing up because we didn't get dial-up until a few years after the game's release, but this was a family favorite. I really hope this game can be picked up by GOG and released for others to play it and enjoy, as it's a hidden gem that should not be lost to time. What's unfortunate about the situation with Fenris Wolf and GT Interactive is that it was all gobbled up by Atari at some point in the past, so they own the IP.
Any in case, I really hope others have experienced the same sort of memories that I have from playing RMR. I still listen to the soundtrack here and there and it was a massive inspiration for me to get into making music. All these years later and I've released handful of albums, singles, and was a DJ on several radio stations. So massive props to Kranium, the duo behind the music in RMR.
