When TellTale first introduced Minecraft: Story Mode, I had hoped for a game with a story reminiscent of The Lego Movie, that struck a good balance between serious and silly and offered interesting choices and unique opportunities to interact with themes. Season Two, in my opinion, is the closest my desires for the series have come to being realized. Its message of friends growing apart works well, and some of its choices felt personal enough that I actually let the timer run out by accident. It's not often that a game is willing to challenge kids with tough decisions, and this game does so fairly gracefully. As of now, it's nearly impossible to buy and play the game, and I believe this title deserves better. I want this game preserved on GOG.
