While this is labeled as the Nintendo Switch Edition, I am covering the all-encompassing spectrum of the Console Edition. This game did not deserve to be discontinued. The game was truly superior to the Java and Bedrock Editions. There was clearly more effort put into this game over the others, and the game felt more like a game than those. This was truly the superior version, in all ways. There's a reason why the developers of the Console Edition are in the middle of making a successor to it. This game has earned it's spot in the hall of fame.

I've been reading a lot about the discontinued Console Editions of Minecraft recently, and I absolutely consider this one the best. It is, in fact, there on top as one of the best Minecraft experiences one could get. Console Edition is one of the most beloved things in community of the game, and it's a shame it was discontinued. I'd love for this game to return. There aren't a lot of chances for it to, but I still feel like this is a right thing to do, to preserve this media to be accessible to players, that would want to choose this experience. Obviously if this is a Nintendo Switch Edition it would need to be adapted to the PCs, but even if it would be, it should absolutely keep it's charm with it, and not something absolutely major Anyway, I'd love for this game to return in any shape or form.
