Dangerous Creatures is a fantastic encyclopedia that explores animals in their environments, combining gaming elements with educational experiences. It's a great example of what good software should be, and how digitalization affected the way people learned back in the 90s. I was one of the many kids who found a lifelong appreciation and respect for the wild creatures all around us, and I believe it can be a great introduction to both animals and interfaces to the youth of the newer generations, the latter due to its user friendly interface.
I used to spend hours learning about animals, the way they sound, the way they move, how specializations help them thrive in their environments, and finding out that even the scariest creatures are just adapted to a certain way of life.
It is not a typical game, but it 100% deserves to be preserved. It's such a nostalgic part of 90s software, built with an optimism that we don't really see nowadays.
