Along the way they meet a variety of characters who teach them new moves and transform them into different animals. This is one of the finest platformers the company ever made. I can even say it's better than Super Mario 64. For starters, you can fully explore the worlds. There's plenty to do with some challenges. You also get some strangely interesting boss fights as well. The soundtrack as a whole is fantastic!!! I didn't expect an platformer this great on Nintendo 64. I do prefer the more recent XBLA port though.
