Lost Kingdoms was one of those rare GameCube RPGs that stood out immediately. Instead of turn-based menus, it gave us a fast-paced card-based battle system where every summon, every monster, and every spell was tied to the deck you built. Battles felt alive — part action, part strategy, and completely unique at the time.
For many of us, this was our introduction to FromSoftware long before they were known for Dark Souls. It showed their willingness to experiment and create something different, blending fantasy storytelling with addictive gameplay.
But today, Lost Kingdoms is locked away on old hardware, fading into obscurity. Bringing it to GOG would mean preserving not just a great RPG, but a piece of FromSoftware’s legacy — a hidden gem that deserves to be remembered and replayed by a new generation.
