It was really underrated, the game is really fun with all the borg you can use to create your team. There are DRAGONS. The more you advance on the story, the more characters are available in multiplayer. Every borg have their pros and cons, so even with one who look weak, you can win an duel. Seeing on PC will be a huge surprise

I've maybe put something like 3-5k hours into this game in general just chasing the incredible amount of Borg's. From machines, to ninjas, to planes, tanks, samurai, girls, bugs, and even fortresses and dragons, there's so many different Borg types and neat stuff to discover like alternate colors, combination burger and so much more! If this came officially to PC or even better, there was a continuation of the general IP it'd be great but if you're into collectors and love raising your units up to stronger heights, then Gotcha Force's gameplay loop, funny little story, the characters and writing, and general atmosphere is great!

If you asked me "if you could only play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be?" This will always be my answer. To this day, I hope and wish Capcom would do something with the IP (besides briefly mention it in anniversary posts). Criminally underrated game due to it's style, the action and content included is fantastic. Over 200 "borg" characters that play differently, different game modes with the ability to make up a team of borgs to your heart's content. If anything in Dreamlist gets added and preserved, I want it to be Gotcha Force.
HEAVILY underrated and super niche game! One of my fondest memories on Gamecube! I'd always play the multiplayer against my brothers and had tons of fun unlocking all the unique playable characters. You can literally unlock anything from the fragile grunt enemies, to full on super-sized bosses! Honestly one of Capcom's amazing hidden gems which deserves to be so much more than it is, and to be experienced by so many more...

i remember playing this on my game cube when i was very young and being completly impressed by how many and distinct playable characters there was. I only had it for like a week with the old rent service, and didnt find it again till a few years ago pro a few hundred bucks. I hope i can properly play again this gem
This was a game that was structured like an anime, yet somehow never had an anime! From the intro sequence to the end credits, the game's overall storytelling is pretty light, but the combat shines. Over 200 characters to collect, each with their own abilities and attacks. Characters with multi-jumps, or wings or rockets, characters with blades or lasers or special attacks that launch massive slash waves. You have robots, magical girls, dragons, knights, even bugs and vehicles. Some are very specialized with a single ability like the ICBM Tank with it's one massive missile, and some are more diverse like your constant companion through the game, G-Red that is balanced across close and long range combat with decent mobility. There are even charatcers that transform between different vehicles, or between vehicle and robotic forms, there are even a few special ones that can COMBINE into a super form for a short time if you have a partner with the corrosponding character and fill up the super gauge, which normally just gives yours and your partner's characters a hyper boost in speed and power for a short time. On top of that, you can collect almost every character in the game, including the partners of the other kids, but each borg also has multiple variants to collect that don't change the stats, but exist purely for appealing to the collectors. Not only do you have the Cosmic Dragon, but you could have the Crystal variant! Or the Shadow variant! This game was so criminally under-rated. It deserved so much more attention, and certainly deserves a chance to be revived for a new generation of gamers to play (The art style, despite being back on the Gamecube, really stand up even today)
i played this on the gamecube back in the day I would have never imagined it would be so had to find later I put some much time into this game you would assume I would never want to play it again but here I am using for more

I'll start with the pitch to the investors, since I know that, while passion keeps projects like these alive, money is what lets them accomplish anything: GOG could charge $200 USD for this game, and it would still make GOG the most affordable option. Just the price for the only the loose disc, no case or manual, hovers around $250 - $300, even spiking as high as $450 back in 2022. The complete game runs from $400 - $600, though that's a price aimed more at collectors than those who just want to enjoy the game, so not your main market. As to why people are repeatedly willing to pay $200 - $600 for a niche Gamecube game? That's because this game has it all. Gotcha Force has a roster of over 200 'borgs', all of whom have distinct abilities and moves, balanced with a point-buy mechanic when building your team. You can pit your team of two dragons against your friends with their respective teams of 30 basic ninjas, and 9 assorted tanks. You can build a full team of magical girls, a squadron of planes, a platoon of knights, an army of robots, or mix-and-match as you please. The gameplay is like a 3d platforming fighter crossed with Pokemon and Warhammer, while the aesthetic is reminiscent of Custom Robo, in that you battle with action-figure-sized borgs, and the sheer depth of customization is second to none. Wrap all of this up in a charming anime aesthetic with voice acting on the level of 'so-bad-it's-good' that others wish they could emulate. I loved playing this game with friends in high school, played through the story mode a half-dozen times by myself back in uni, and I want more people to be able to experience this marvel of a game. Unlike a lot of others on the dreamlist, the issue here isn't some weird issue making the game unplayable on modern hardware - it's simply an issue of accessibility, and there not being enough physical copies out there for everyone. GOG could fix that. GOG could let the Gotcha Borg Corps of Justice rise up in the name of justice!
Those games also need your vote!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
