Story:Rescuing girlfriends is a pretty common challenge in older computer games - why can't any of these ladies look after themselves? On this occasion Pearly has been kidnapped by Fransz Dandruff, so better make sure he's hair today, gone tomorrow.
The gameplay is platform based, although the player may move down platforms as well as up to the next one. There are lots of baddies (drawn in a cutesy style) who need shooting and offer rewards. The seven levels are fairly short and linear.Show more
It was basically the first game I spent hours on. And the first game I played through in its entirety. It was without a doubt the game with the best graphics (after all, it was the Commodore 64 era), 3D backgrounds, great music, and really emotional gameplay. I've been looking for a chance to play it again for years, decades.
This game was basically my first addiction! It's a really unique game, its basically a 2d collectathon platformer Before the genre existed! you go either left or right in each level looking for the items you need to trade in to get to the next level! Your trying to save your girlfriend, in a simple but very fun adventure. I remember the game not having many levels, but each has a distinct look to it and some monsters not found in other stages.
I'd absolutely love this game to be brought to GoG! I think a lot of people might really like it! I think theirs a few differing versions of this game out there too, so it could maker for a nice collection, if someone put in the time to find them all.
The version I had as a kid was on the Commodore 64, it was on a Compilation Cart we had, I still have the cart to this day, but sadly not the commodore itself.
Anyways. I hope this game gets more votes because it really deserves to have a second chance, and have a little of the modern spotlight.
