I still sometimes play it, but I have the old "Games For Windows Live" version. I know it's on Steam, but I'd rather buy DRM-free version on GOG.
Currently, I can start it play a single race and turn it off in 4 minutes. With Steam, it'd add additional minute or two for Steam to connect, update, think for a while and then finally launch the game.

This game was my first PC game. As a young child who loved racing games, I wanted something with a bit more action. When I had the chance, I voiced my desire to parents and we went to the local PC DVD games store. The cover for this game got me hyped!
I got home and was amazed with the physics, the driving seemed smooth for me at the time too! This game pretty much gave me the boost to be a "real gamer", basically more involved with looking out for new games and it's a core pillar of my memories as a fun and goofy time.
For this to be DRM-Free would mean it can be preserved forever, and there's no negative in that!
