Story:The third game in the Fire Department series once again follow the life of fire fighters - this time in 13 missions in five locations: France, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Ukraine - the home country of the developers.
The game uses a dynamic fire and smoke dynamics system. Fire does not follow a scripted path and is influenced by the wind or flammable substance. Smoke follows ventilation paths and suppresses oxygen levels. Players manage a fire fighter crew with different classes and 15 different vehicles, all in real-time. Each class has a specific set of abilities. Regular fire fighters break doors and save victims while putting out the fires, medics provide first aid, others are able to get through obstacles, repair machines, command dogs, specialize in toxic substances or wear special suits that withstand extreme temperatures. Each unit can be assigned a defensive, offensive or heroic stance.
The list of vehicles includes fire engines, ambulances, boats, bulldozers, trucks, helicopters and planes. Missions feature both primary and secondary objectives, requiring the player to create groups to approach fires from different directions.
The game offers two multiplayer modes. Players can replay all missions from the singleplayer mode with both players controlling all units at the same time, or a more cooperative approach where players can divide the units between them. There are three multiplayer bonus missions as well.Show more
last in three game series. this one gives a storyline of vengence. (i dont want to spoil the reasons etc so this is why its vague). this is only real competition emergency series had back then. fire department 3 is more arcade version witch their specialists. medic to return civilians and your own firefighters to be able to walk again, engineer that can solve issues witch technology that are too complicated for rest of your men, scout for when things you need to do are too high for the rest. thats not all. this game is one of few im regulary geting back too and keep me old windows xp laptop alive for (sadly me dvd is showing signs of age). to this game only one game replicated this style of gameplay fire commander (also aviable on GOG). it isnt 1-1 copy since you have rpg like elements there. fire department is simple jump to action and do the best with what you have. Most memorable mission for me is in old german prision when your unit chief is questioned about something with game story. then fire spreads there. you have to race against time to find him hile saving prision workers. when you find him this old building is giving out under the fire. you now race not against fear of lusing your comrade, but of fear of being buried alive under burning prision! (not giving you solution here you have to find it plaing ;P ) Legal copy has dvd encryption so you have to inserd dvd into the dvd drive for it to work. sadly encryption works only up to win xp. game is suprizinglystill working on win 10 if you crack it. So for GOG it would be quick and easy job. And please thats for GOG stuff. Get polish language licencion too!!! that game had gread voice acting keeping you on the edge. i would love to be able to show it to more people. we lack good rts firefighting games lately.
