Once this game gets out of early access on steam it would be nice if it would also come to GOG since it looks like it would be really fun. I also especially like the unique world as well as even more so the very intricate building mechanics it has. This is the sort of building type game I have wanted for a long time. It's like minecraft but with more control and more realistic in the world. I have been keeping an eye on it for a long while and look forward to it releasing in the future if it ever does.
The world of this game is vast and really fun to explore, and the building mechanics allow quite a bit of control whether using individual blocks or pre-constructed walls with windows and doorways. It has a pretty decent difficulty curve with some fairly difficult bosses, but without the punishing aspect of things like Elden Ring. While it's been in early access, I've especially enjoyed gradually building a whole village for the different crafting NPCs, each with their own distinct house in different styles.

This is clearly the best 30€ of my life. currently at +200 hours on steam and would love to see the game on GOG, DRM free, so I can't gift it to people. (I simply vote because I would love to see this game DRM free)
I love it so much I want to put it on an external flash drive and have it for ever on my shelve "just in case" and "HAVE IT" like a figurine

This is by a close margin the best survival game I've ever played, only closely followed by Valheim. It has great combat, great building and a really beautiful world I still love exploring even after 400 hours in it.
I’m hoping Enshrouded becomes available on GOG because it’s exactly the kind of game I’ve been looking for — one that combines deep adventure and creativity in a beautifully crafted world. What makes this game unforgettable is how it seamlessly blends exploration, farming, building, and survival into one rich, immersive experience. I love playing it with my partner in crime, where we can farm, build incredible infrastructure, discover mesmerizing animals, cook together, and have a great time exploring and creating our little world.
The game is both fun and challenging because it balances adventure and survival elements with the freedom to build and farm, making every moment rewarding. The sense of progression and discovery keeps us hooked, and the vibrant, living world adds a magical touch to the experience.
Most importantly, I want Enshrouded on GOG for the DRM-free access. I value owning my games without worrying about losing access due to corrupted accounts or services, such as Xbox accounts, which can sometimes be unrecoverable. GOG’s DRM-free philosophy means I can safely keep my gaming memories intact and enjoy this amazing game whenever I want, without any stress.

FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival.
Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed.
The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo.
As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity.
Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control.
