I really wanted to vote for Deer Avenger 3d, but that was not an option. Honestly I'd buy any Deer Avenger game if it was playable. These were great subversions of the hunting genre.
At the close of the twentieth century computer gaming was at a crossroads. Most computers could play the new releases (or could be upgraded to) without much difficulty. This family of games is no different. Load the VESA driver for your video card and it was off to the fantasy of the Buck that got revenge! I played these for hours and hours, having gotten a compilation CD set with all four titles. I've looked for anyone selling it these days and cannot find it. I do so hope that GoG brings it back.
The Nostalgia is strong here, especially with the humor of the era thrown in. Fart humor throughout, and all the crazy weapons Bambo has at his disposal...
Played this a lot when I was a kid. Been back and forth playing this and finally got my own copy after many years. Its very nostalgic to me but I have much love towards it. I remember recently you have to do some work to make the game operating on newer hardware and software. I would love to see this game to get some spotlight. It has a charm that many don't have. Great one liners and just a fun game and can be challenging near the end of the game.
