Spent hours playing this with my wife-to-be when we were students. She was the tank, I was the archer. Finding cool magic weapons that were different each time through really gave a sense of exploration and discovery. Customising weapons with gems and whetstones and things let us make them our own

Yes. 100%. 10/10 games. Would love to see these timeless bangers back. I remember playing this game over and over again, because being able to start a new game, with your existing character and all its gear is awesome. In the PS2 era, I even had the Multitap, (multi controller adapter) to play with more people.

Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. Fable IIFable 2 is the second game in the fable series by Lionhead Studios, it is an open world role-playing game. It has a simple story line where the hero needs to save Albion from the evil Lord Lucian by collecting together the other three heroes to defeat him. Interactive cut-scenes are a large part of the game however the main character never speaks and all dialogue is uncontrolled.
The game features a large variety of game play and freedom, allowing a player to shape the world around and the characters appearance and moral standing based on decisions throughout the game.
