I had countless hours sunk into this game, and this is the game that kickstarted my passion for helicopters, real or game. And unlike the War Thunder experience, coming from the same developer that is Gaijin Entertainment (a.k.a. The Snail), there are zero grinding here. Just good old unlock-by-playing, as how they should always be.
Great graphics for what it is, and especially for a game released in 2010, plus near-fully-destructible environment. You can choose between arcade and "realistic" flight models, as well as having the ability to reload ordnance mid-air, amongst other gameplay-related options. Not to mention one of the best main theme for a video game, in my opinion, another common trait of Gaijin's games.
Yeah, this is one of those "wishful thinking" idea, considering this is a niche game, so it'll likely not see the light of day on GOG.com. Still, anything can happen, and it's best to keep hopes up that some miracle can indeed come true.
