The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition

Three times i tried to start and enjoy this game (in 2018, 2019 and now in 2020). I really don't get why people like this awkward game.. I mean: the characters and the stories from the first hours are not that bad but the exploration, the fighting mechanics and the character menus are just bad. I am finding this game just underwhealming and honestly badly put together.

I have not played any previous Witcher games but with The Witcher III so well rated, I went ahead and bought it and the others in a pack a while back. I've tried it a few times and liked it some but the controls just kill me too much to keep going and it's mainly about trying to pick stuff up off the ground. You have to be in EXACTLY the right spot to pick it up and I find it VERY tedious to do. So much so that I just stopped playing. I've played Fallout since the beginning through Fallout 4, have put TONS of hours into Skyrim and also Borderlands 2 but with this issue with picking things up in The Witcher III, I just can't do it. Fix that, and I'll probably try it again. but until then, nope. There's plenty of other games to suck my time.

Not into the story or the characters. Everything about it feels very shallow with lots of color and complex-feeling things splashed over it. But scratch below the surface and there is nothing there. I'm going to continue to play for a little longer, but I really dislike games that make you invest time just to get to any sort of enjoyable parts, usually they never redeem themselves.

ALT+TAB doesn't work even in windowed mode. V-Sync almost never works. The game stutters alot in some ocasions. Sometimes Geralt completely frezes in the middle of a fight when sourrunded by enemies. Sometimes the keys stop working, randomly. The gama setting on PC is completely broken. Every time I launch the game the game is completely dark, even though the setting is at max brightness. The game freezes every time it tries to save. How dificult must be implementing a asyncronous saving system? So many bugs. I didn't CDPR fixed this. It's game breaking bugs. I am not asking to fix the brain dead roach AI. The rest of the game is amazing. But I always stop playing the game because of this bugs.

I own the version for Xbox, also connected to Gog, and Gog does not want to make it free for me, although it promised for everyone that you can get The Witcher for free if you have a version
