Game is great but i dock 2 stars for breaking the promise of providing the red mod tool

Some, but not all keyboard and mouse inputs stop working randomly during battle. Can't cast, use fast or strong attack, or switch weapons. But I can still move, eat food, or use potions. Terrible that this issue is still here after many ears.

I understand all the fan boys of this franchise will be having a heart attack at this but no this game is not good. Yes, the story is great, the lore is great, BUT the gameplay is not at all and lets all stop pretending that this is the greatest game ever made. The story itself may be amazing, yes but gameplay and controls it self are trash. First off, the horse....HORRIBLE controls. You will get stuck on invisible walls, you will get stuck on roads that are clearly open yet your stupid horse will be stuck in place. When you get into combat while on your horse, it will be a luck of the draw wether you are able to dismount intime or if you simply get annihalated because youre stuck on your horse. Roach sucks, the controls are horrible. Combat itself...lmao what a joke. You will literally fight bosses that will block all of your attacks and there is nothing you can do to help that. People will say "oh use rend!" great! a useless skill simply because ANY heavy attack you can try and do to bypass blocks or armor will be met with a one shot kill because it takes you too long to wind up or execute a heavy attack. In the end its all luck. This game is not hard one bit, all it is...is luck. If you get lucky enoguh that the BOSS somehow missed you and you were able to squeeze in a shot. The combat skills are pretty rad i will admit that, bombs also....YET AGAIN all of said skills or bombs take too long to utilize. If any fanboy here is foaming at the mouth at this point....please fight Iris' greatest fear on Death March on NG+. Even without enemy upscaling, this fight is so stupid and OP it literally makes no sense. I understand making a boss hard to kill and an accomplishment to beat, but this fight is just plain stupid. You get one shot with every swing of his sword, even with potions.....there is no beating the boss without dropping difficulty. Boss dashes and reappears behind you, blocks your shots, stuns you and one shots you. This game is trash.

It's a good RPG. But nothing more. It has many translation issues. As it's an RPG with many riddles, the translation is important. Because of bad translations, those quests often make no sense. The game is old. Very old and still has many bugs. That new games have bugs. Well, it's a given as players are the modern alpha testers. But games of this age shouldn't have bugs. This game is still a bug collection. Overall...the Story is decent, the game is captivating, but it eats your nerves as it's full of bugs. (I played the game in English - German voice actor of Gerald is terrible, he sounds like a child compared to the English one.

do our witcher 3 savegames get carried over to the goty version if we purchase it ? I heard that it doesnt on consoles but cant find any material for the pc..
