The new era of RPG!
CDPR is a great developer team that cared for their game and it's players - and I'm sure it payed out, and I'll tell you why. I'm from Ukraine, and people are not reach here, so not everyone have opportunity to pay for the games if they can get it for free. But I know people who have never ever bought a game before... well, before Witcher 3. They did it just to support the creators of such masterpiece. CDPR should open an online-course to teach others how to love games and care for the community. This is definitely one of the best games I've ever played. And it's most certainly the best game RPG genre has to offer in my opinion. I love every aspect of it (took me 180+ hours throughout this wonderful journey). If you're still didn't get it, what are you waiting for? P.S. Hate those people that posting low rating reviews just for not be upgraded to GOTY edition for free. So what? You already have all the content in there. Chill out!

GOTY for good reason
I am a old gamer played Doom many years ago and it was a real mile stone in games for its time. Since there have been other equally ahead of their time and set new standards for gaming. This is the game all others will be compaired too for a while to come. It has truly set a new level to gaming in my eyes. Beautiful graphics and smooth game play. If you fail to buy this game and play it, it will be your loss. Even the price is amazing right now. Only thing I can think of negetive is how to you top this. I look foward to CD Project Reds next release.

The best game I've ever played
Witcher 3 dethrones Baldur's Gate series as my absolute favourite game of all time, which is something I never thought possible, given the nostalgia attached to that game. The world CDPR built is just astounding, the game is beautifully drawn and voiced. The side quest content quality often beats the standard that would pass as main storyline for most games. The overall experience set the new bar in gaming, for me persoanally. Well done! There are enough praises for this game everywhere, so I'll point the few things I did not like. Some areas - Oxenfurt most of all - were quite dissapointing in terms of content, though the game has only itself to blame due to the standard it sets. I'll also never be a fan of chosen style of character and equipment progression. Having a legendary sword, or a sword made by a master craftsman made unusable only because you've gained a few levels is a game-y mechanic I'll never be able to agree with. Still, I could just stick to my up to date witcher sets and ignore the rest. If you're still hesitating to buy this game - don't. It's worth every penny and more. One thing to keep in my is that takes time, you'll need around 100 hours to complete the game if you take your time and get distracted by side quests (this is nowhere near completionist though, you'd have to double that number, I think). On the other hand - thanks to the quality of each quest the game can be played in bite sized chunks. So.. just buy it, you will not regret it!

Best CRPG of all time
I've been a gamer for almost 26 years, starting with Commodore 64, through Amiga, SNES, Playstation One, PS2, and finally PC. I've played countless games, with a keen interest in RPGs. I've always held games like BG2 and PS:T as highest pinnacle of game design. This all changed when I played TW3. It's hard to pintpoint what exactly make this game stand out, as there are so many things that are just brilliantly designed. Starting from a fact that on release this was the open world RPG game with fewest bugs - so little of them that I don't remember a single one except the silly Roach air walks. This game has it all - beautiful graphics, one of the best soundtracks, amazingly unique quests (no generic "go clear X number of caves" or "collect Y number of Z", incredibly detailed open world, a diverse casts of NPCs, brilliant voice acting...everything you can think about is made to perfection in this game. It took me 100h to finish the game on the first run, while pretty much rushing to end in the last 30 hours. My second walkthough is at around 110h and I'm yet to get to half point of the game. There's plenty of stuff to do, and yet you will rarely get bored by the game. DLCs are absolutely amazing, to the point it's hard to say which one I like more. Hearts of Stone weaves a brilliant, heart touching story of deceit, love, treachery and is brilliantly paced, with the start of the quest being centered around a care-free wedding night, only to turn quite sinister at the later stages. Blood and wine on the other hand doesn't bring such a tightly written story, but it brings a whole new world to explore. If I had to mention one last thing about this game it's this - rush to get to Skellige. Skellige is one of the most brilliantly designed areas in any game I've ever played. The combination of visuals, music, quests, voice acting...it all comes together in this part of the Witcher world and makes you weep when the Spikeroog tunes kick in. Buy this game.
