Outstanding! It hits the same vibes as Disco Elysium. I did enjoy a story and fights were like a puzzles - quite fun! I finished my playthrough in aprox. 23h and I think that I have missed some content (1-2h more maybe?). Other endings and even playthrough might be worth it to spend time again playing this game. I must say that a lack of a Polish dubbing is a lost opurtunity but a Polish translation is just perfect - it captures the Warsaw subdialect which cannot be heard in an English dubbing. There are alos some references to memes or other known persons/citations but I think most of those will be noticed by Poles only, maybe even those who know somethings about Warsaw ("Biały" Roman <3). For me it great fun. Good job!

Unwinnable difficulty spike on 1st boss. Avoid

Came for Rasputin; stayed for Wiktor and the overall fun, gripping and engaging gameplay. This game nails the combat, music, dialogue and narrative masterfully; only failing at exploration, which is a dull series of right-clickings. Nonetheless, still a solid 9,5/10. I wish there were more gems like this.

Denn schon seit einiger Zeit geht es uns nicht ganz so gut. Unseren Salutor (so eine Art Geistbegleiter) sehen wir nur noch sporadisch. Das wäre vermutlich für die meisten eher ein gutes Zeichen, für uns, der wir aus der Zunft der Thaumaturgen sind, ist das eher hinderlich. Schließlich treffen wir den Heilerpriester, kein Geringerer als Grigori Rasputin (jetzt mal ganz schnell das Bonny M-Lied ausblenden) und dieser kann uns tatsächlich heilen. So wiederhergestellt beginnen wir gleich mit unseren Ermittlungen, denn das Dorf wird von bösen Geistern heimgesucht. Die Grafik zeichnet eine wunderschöne Atmosphäre, wenn wir in isometrischer Grafik durch die Gegend laufen. Hier suchen wir nach Hinweisen und reden mit Leuten. Ecken wir an, also kommt es zum Kampf, wechselt das Spiel in einen Rundenmodus. Die Sprachausgabe ist leider nur in Polnisch und Englisch verfügbar, dafür sind die Texte und Untertitel in gutem Deutsch. Was hilfreich ist, denn man muss hier einiges lesen. Nicht so viel wie bei einem Pathfinder, aber doch einiges. Grundsätzlich ist das Spiel eher was für geduldige Gemüter, die gerne Hinweisen nachgehen und Dialoge durchklicken. Unseren Thaumaturgen können wir natürlich auch "aufleveln", was neue Optionen im Kampf und bei den Ermittlungen freischaltet. Das Spiel ist nicht für jeden was, wer Action sucht, ist hier falsch. Wer spannende Geschichten in einem ruhigen Fahrwasser erleben möchte, kann seinen Spaß haben.

To beginn with I really liked the game and played it complety through, except for some minor stuff i just missed. To summarize the experience I would definetly recommend it and will maybe play it again at some point. The negatives I have are minor stuff to me. What I liked: + world design: you walk through small instances / maps freely and can hop between them + In-game time: as you do things in the world the days go by. Certain things can just be done or found at specific daytimes + story: the early 20th century fantasy-version of poland was fresh for me. I really liked how the story was told and that there are some messages "hidden". That said, its not the most intense and thrilling story, but enjoyable for the estimated time What I disliked: - the game didn't run very smooth, neither on windows nor on linux. But except for 2 or 3 crashes and some frame stuttering here and there everythings fine - the leveling / upgrade system: because this is tied to the story and your decisions you will propably not get the most optimal build paying blind. For me it was fine because of the game design and it doesnt really matter in combat.
