Never played it before, TY GoG <3

It is something I did not expect an RTS title to start me out as an ay-lmao collective in underneath a planet's surface. I'm glad I did. it is simple to understand, the animation for the story is unexpected! So far this is reviving the love I have for this genre of when RTS of OG Starcraft and Warcraft 3 was a thing. There could be a bug or 2 in the game, but was not noticeable during my playthrough of the game currently. Only thing is does not have is multiplayer games where I could play with friends, but is great for those that want RTS that focuses on its story. 8/10 Recomended for RTS starting point or veterans alike.

Clunky and Disappointing

The user interface in this game is extremely clunky and difficult to use, even blocking the ability to click certain buttons in certain resolutions. It's a great idea for a game, but it seems poorly optimized and just not fun to play.

Bugs vs everything else, why not

This was a weird game to play, but you don't see enough weird so it was a bit of a win. The story sadly ended riiiight when it was getting good as well could be said for some game play mechanics so a good guess would be they had a bit more planned for this, rushed it out because of lowering budget and tried to push for a sequel that never came, which is always sad to see. But honestly, someone could probably mod this game with the assests there and get it up to scratch without too much trouble and if you played buggos on steam and just wanted to try more bug RTS's then this isn't too bad for the price

Interesting concept, poor execution

The Hive is a very interesting game and the story was very nice, but the game lacks tool tips for important information like, What I can do with the items I pick up? and How to gain DNA to research and upgrade units? This lead to me zerg rushing the game, that while fun annoyed me that critical information was not present during the tutorial stages of the game.
