huge failure

Don't buy this game. It keeps crashing all the time and GOG doesn't respond when you file a complaint. It's a waste of money. I have tried all the solutions for making this badly programmed game work, but honestly, why would I make all kinds of adjustments to my computer in order to make this game work properly? By now I have managed to make my computer perform worse than ever before due to this game! Ruining my computer and still this game is faulty, because it is bugged? Sorry, no. I have deleted Syberia The World Before and that is the best I did so far. Beautiful game though, but not playable. I give 5 stars for the game itself, but -1 stars for support.

I played 10 minutes and it took 3.45 hours

Literally. I probably played 10/15 minutes, but it took 3.45 hours. Slow. Unskippable. SLOW. SLOOOOOOW. The player so far cannot fail (so far), so there is no gameplay. They removed the gameplay and kept the story. It's a game-movie, that combines the two in the worst possible way: as a movie, it pauses for me to move the mouse around. as a game, all I do is moving the mouse around for a minute before starting another movie section. No, thanks. No. I would like to see how the story ends, but I really cannot force myself to click and slide another whatever, or fight the camera to go in the only possible direction, that is behind the current camera position.

Crashes after Chapter 25

After talking to Leni in the bed, the game loads the next scene/chapter and crashes to desktop. Ran fine until this point. But now: Unplayable! In understand immediate crashes of games due to technical issues, but such a crash after 2/3(?) of the game is EXTREMELY annoying! The game itself is rather simple but really pretty. I would have liked to at least experience the end of the story...

To slow pace

I have played Syberia 1 & 2, jumped over number 3 because I could not stand the controls. Here I'm yet again with unbearable controls, and absolute no way to skip lengthy dialogs or monologues or cutscens. Hey they even added a timer to there own skip button (skip as in "I'm done looking at this random object")... Look at something again and you will have to withstand the exact same dialog, no way to skip. Graphics and audio is ok, but everything that has something to the pace of the game is absolute torture. Played about 20 minutes before I gave up, exactly as Syberia 3. This is the absolute end for me in this series.

Paid 15 Euro for Digital Deluxe Edition

This game deserves less money because of the filthy politics. I wanted to pay only 1 Euro for Digital Deluxe Edition, but it will never be. Maybe it will be free someday. This game deserves to be bought only to have all the series. It will remain in history as the dirtiest and ugliest. I am really sorry for what the series has become.
