Good tactical fps
I got this game boxed, and i can tell it is what it promises, a single player tactical fps, where you are in control of a swat squad of 5 members. You have to learn when to use non lethal bullets, when there is to fire and where there is not, you will see that can be harder to disarm an enemy then to headshot him. The game to be a 2001 title looks still decent, but it lacks sadly a lot of controls "rainbow six style" like the far better cover system, and also giving orders to the squad is not a pain but its not very smooth either. Sierra sadly didnt have a great engine tbh to be implemented but anyway its not so bad either. There is a good replayability on every map as the enemies/hostages are placed quite randomly at start so about that its quite a good value. The only main drawback i can tell is the fact the AI mostly waits you in some corner, and you will be killed most time one shotted, so well, you must like this gameplay to like this game. Imho this gameplay is good on little maps, when you plan your "bang and clear" pushes into rooms, sneaking very carefully planning how to pass every corner, but on big ones, in example LAX, it can be tedious as finding the last terrorist hidden somewhere can be a bit frustrating, especially considering that they usually camp a lot. Overall anyway a good game, considered there is not much competition anyway out there about the target of this game.
