Games like silverfall
That was my first google search after finishing this rough diamond of a game. Its all about the levelling and the managment of the immense amount of loot you find. Thats literally the meat of the game, killing mobs-looting-levelling end of story, but believe me if you give it a chance this game can potentially hook you for 30-40 hours Graphics arent terrible and have a nice charm to them, while also unintentionally giving most areas a creepy, cold and isolated feel to them(in a good way) esp with the heavy use of fog to cover the abysmal draw distance. Towns are populated but mostly static with only vendors and a couple quest givers. I still enjoyed exploring them even if they were purposed mainly to have somewhere to offload loot then get you straight back into the field and start cleaning up mobs of enemies again. A couple of the locations had more depth and quests/ buildings to enter etc Combat broken up into battle stances usings buttons 1,2,3 which makes your character auto attack enemies in a specific way and then special attacks/abilities with 4567. This is where i dont understand complaints about the controls they are really not that hard to grasp and you can play 90% of the time without even using the mouse which is great. You wont have problems unless you dont have a numpad or are distributing your build way too broad, which the game doesnt really want you to do imo, pick a style and stick with it then use companions to cater for what you cant do. Story and companion quests are pretty forgetable, none of your companions are voice acted but alot of the main story characters are. The balance and choices between nature and tech was pretty well realised and served as an additional build choice and can alter what quests you might want to complete. Silverfall is the first game of this type ive, and i can tell with all its jank that others probably do it better but thats no reason to gloss over this title. I couldnt put it down, give it a go.
Hilft dir das weiter?
