Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
I continue to play this game 20 nyears after release. I wish They would come out with a refresh/update. I think it's better than all the CIV games except Civ VI.

Alien Crossfire Expansion Is Broken
Alien Cross fire is completely unplayable on windows 11. It opens to the start menu fine, but once you start a game it crashes immediately on turn one. It does this consistently regardless of settings. Base Alpha Centauri is playable and unaffected by this issue, but I can't reccomend anyone buy this with the Alien Crossfire expansion in it's current state. It's a shame because this is actually a fantastic game that I feel holds up surprisingly, but half of it just doesn't work. I'm especially saddened by this as the game is a part of the preservation program.

Unplayable
This is one of the best Sid Meier's games. Unfortunately, it no longer plays on my machine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several time with the same result. The game crashes at the start, every time.
