Resident Evil

What can I say? Resident Evil is the first Horror game that I ever played, and it's one of my favorite games. I remember playing it for hours and not being able to put it down, neglecting my homework and my chores... and even calling in sick to work just to play it... those were the days. Not only did Capcom give up the OG Resident Evil, but they're giving us the 2nd and 3rd OG Resident Evil games, as well. I rarely buy games on day 1, but this is OG Resident Evil, so I ended up buying the bundle of 3 games for $24.99. That's more than fair for the 3 games. I wish that there were more Capcom games available on GOG. They're currently only offering a handful of their masterpieces, and I'd like to see that change. I'm hoping that this release will become a trend for Capcom, where they release more of their titles on here, both old and new. They should start with Resident Evil - Code: Veronica.

What are you waiting for? Just buy the bundle! These games are a lesson on how to build atmosphere and provide some good times. Both veterans and new players alike are guaranteed to have blast playing them

English: Just played two times on the keyboard with Jill, unlocked the infinite INGRAM, then the inifinite RL and all costumes. It was smooth except for a little flickering in the walking, but didn't bother me, it even helped me pass throught some parts that would probably block me for being too narrow. What made me happier is the uncensored cutscenes. F the censorship! There is some options to get better graphics and change the resolutions, which helped me record the game. Would love more Capcom classics here. Portuguese: Acabei de jogar duas vezes no teclado com a Jill, e desbloqueei o INGRAM infinito, depois o Rocket Launcher infinito e todas as roupas. Foi suave exceto por uma pequena oscilação na caminhada, mas não me incomodou, até me ajudou a passar por algumas partes que provavelmente me bloqueariam por ser muito estreito. O que me deixou mais feliz foram as cenas sem censura. Abaixo a censura! Existem algumas opções para melhorar os gráficos e alterar as resoluções, o que me ajudou a gravar o jogo. Adoraria mais clássicos da Capcom aqui.

As you may see some people saying that the game isn't the directors cut version of the game, well, they're correct. It's infact the uncut verison, that was only available in Japan on release. So even better, Great job! GOG, this version has more blood/gore and extra content, and the uncut colored opening scene in it's entirty. The game runs great and looks great, and with new features and QOL improvements, the controls, "Just work". I'm playing on an old Sony CRT through its hdmi port, which I highly reccomend or even VGA Monitor if you can, which would be the best graphical option.

Resident Evil 1 is the corner stone of it's genre
