What happened to the humans? Primordia is delightful, smart and packed with personality, but it also comes to a close just as you're ready to explore more of its engrossing world. Leaving the player wanting more is no great disaster, of course - and the truncated length makes it tempting to go back and try to earn some of the different endings - but it still feels like a really good game that is only a few drafts away from greatness.

There is plenty to forgive Primordia for, but if you can get past the issues and lose yourself in the game there’s a rich and emotional story waiting for you. I’m a bit of a robot nut myself and despite all of my nitpicks about the game I found myself deeply affected by the ending. There’s a lot of reasons to fight Horatio’s war and Primordia does a great job of considering all of them even if it trips a few times on the way there. If you thoroughly enjoyed games like Beneath A Steel Sky or Full Throttle, I can guarantee that you’ll find plenty to like about Primordia.

Not For Me

I've always been a big fan of adventure games, and this one certainly has a lot of charm, but I was instantly turned off by the 'Humanism' aspect of the game. I'm sure the developers were simply taking a different take on modern religion, but I find real world humanism completely despicable ... so the running dialogue concerning Humanism was very distracting for me. I'm also not a fan of pixelated graphics. Naturally many of us were raised with pixelated graphics, such as Kings Quest, etc ... but when you have the technology to make a smooth HD game, why wouldn't you? In my opinion, there's nothing particularly charming about bad graphics ... but maybe that's just me.

Could Not Get By 1985 Low Rez Graphics

I don't know if this game is any good or not. Lots of 5 star ratings. But not from me. This game came out in 2012, yet chose to "look 8 bit style" in their pixelated graphics. Yes, I am an old DOS gamer, but I don't "relish" those clunky graphics in Quest For Glory 1-3 or Freddie Frakas Frontier Pharmacist. The decision to "give it a retro look" made me give up on it after about 30 minutes of eye agony. I can deal with low rez graphics on games from a bygone era, but not from someone trying to be "cute" in 2012. Relegated it to my "tried it out, terrible low rez, uninstalled folder. Might be a great game, but I did not stick around long enough to torture my eyes and find out.

Tricked into buying

This game is very bad. The trailer tricks you into thinking the game has a good soundtrack (it doesn't. It has a short piece of music that repeats over and over), and the other reviews wants you to believe that the puzzles are interesting. They are not. It is a simple old "click everything until you stumble on something" point-and-click game. Stay clear.

HORRIBLE GRAPHICS

I just cant get over the bad graphics - low resolution - u can barely make anything out 1990 games have better detail than this!!! I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW PEOPLE ARE RAVING ABOUT THIS GAME? how can I click on anything if I don't even know what im looking at? Surely hiring a decent illustrator wouldn't have blown ur budget!! God Sake!

NO GAME AVAILABLE

I just tried to DL this AGAIN for the fourth time. This was in a batch of a few games that were deemed GOG's LAST CHANCE. They blew it - bad. I continue to get "404 - Not Found" error. There are NO GAME FILES AVAILABLE TO DL. I paid for NOTHING. I waste more time trying to MAKE game DL's work on GOG. Regular browser DL's have been around since the beginning. This won't be posted, I'm sure, but there's no other way for them to find out, not care, and then do nothing about it anyway. I have NO trouble DLing games from Steam and/or Epic. You DON'T need to have and give/rent/sell to FB, Microsoft, etc. the ENTIRE file system from my PC to fix your WRONG DL LINK. I'm done with GOG. CLOSE MY ACCOUNT. Hopefully, you can handle that. I've already told you THREE times and you've STILL not done that.
