Venturing Forth
This game is a fantastic RPG masterpiece. I'm 17 hours in after two days of playing. I've come across no bugs. Wrath of the Righteous is like a wonderful combination of the Divinity Original Sin games, with the deep and thoughtful writing, characterizations, and voice acting of Dragon Age. I I've never felt to immersed in an isometric game before. The excellent music and sound design help to create an experience that can be at times: thrilling, exciting, irreverent, and truly epic. This is story-telling and gaming on a grand scale and impact. Create your character and venture forth.

Thank you, Owlcat!
What a glorious game this is. I held off buying at first due to fear of bugs, but it runs fine on my 2021 MacBook Air and I've played for 100+ hours with only a few issues. The story is great, and for me it treads that perfect line between classic heroic fantasy and the more trope-subverting, His Dark Materials style, so you can lean either way depending on your inclinations. While there is a clunky line of dialogue here and there the writing is excellent. Best of all the characters, especially the villains really feel as if they have their own personalities and agendas, rather than simply doing what the story requires of them. The gameplay brings my childhood to life, with obvious nods to Baldur's Gate and Heroes of Might and Magic but with notes of Planescape, Neverwinter Nights, and even Diablo as well. Character creation and optimization is incredibly addictive. A game this ambitious is bound to have some issues, and there were moments both with WoTR and the original Kingmaker that left me quite frustrated in terms of quest design, encounter design and yes, bugs, but overall I've had a blast. Keep up the good work!

Excellent game that needs polish
If you like cRPGs, especially Owlcat's previous game Pathfinder: Kingmaker, you'll enjoy this game. Story is excellent. Voice acting, while limited, is solid. Gameplay (turn-based mode, I don't play RTwP) is great. Character customization will hold you back from finishing due to the sheer variety of build options (unless you don't suffer from restartitis). And, while not part of the base game, there's already a plethora of mods available that take the game even further. Sadly, I cannot give the game 5 stars. There are a sizeable number of bugs (though they patch the game regularly), and the game is a bit unbalanced difficulty-wise (expect to struggle at even normal difficulties later on unless you're using mercenaries and are min-maxed, or you've modded/cheated). Final 2 acts (though the last act is barely its own) are somewhat lacking compared with the earlier portions. And the Crusade mode is tedious, but they made it quasi-mandatory (if you want to have a chance to see and get everything, you'll have to play with it on). Despite these gripes, I am only now, after 3 months and over 600 hours, starting to slow down on playing it (I've only actually beaten it twice). With promise of DLCs to come, I only expect it to get better. Well worth the cost and mild frustrations it comes with.
