Messiah

This is a fantastic game, full of humor, stealth, action, and puzzles. It's really a unique concept. I recommend this as a buy to just about anyone, but keep one thing in mind. It is buggy. Really buggy. But the bugs may be fixed soon, since Gog has such a crack team on it. Anyways, be hopeful for fixes, but enjoy the parts of the game you can.

one of the best single player experience i had on my PC, the way to beat each area, the level design, the action fight and that insane World hypnoticed me. Great game.

Not sure how it holds up today but back in the day i had loads of fun playing this game. The graphics were pretty decent at the time and the game is a fun 3rd person experience. The first time you get knocked out of your body its kinda tough but you get used to positioning yourself so that you can hop from body to body without getting killed in the process. The story isn't particularly engaging but the game is very satirical and funny at times. There is a little exploration and some problem solving to do but for the most part its a 3d shooter/platformer with a well implemented possession mechanic (aim for the upper back). Nothing more i can think of to say except the final boss fight is incredibly challenging, but worth it when you finish.

I am surprised to see the reviews for this game all over. I got this game for free when I bought a graphics card a long time ago. I do not know how many years it had been out at that point, but I would guess about four. I do not know if it stands up to the test of time, nor do I know if it has any glitches on modern games. This game really surprised me. It has an interesting mechanic where you are a cherub that possesses enemies and then use them to sneak by or to execute each other. Usually that is humans, but sometimes it is various animals. If you die while inside a person, you pop out, and are defenseless. There is an easy difficulty but I quickly realized that it made things too easy. If you are on the hardest difficulty you can only possess someone if you catch them at unawares right in the center of the back. This makes it into a quasi stealth game where you are trying to find an opportunity to slip into someone while no one else is looking. If you get caught it is unlikely you'll be able to possess anyone who is currently shooting at you. The story is nothing special, but I enjoyed the inevitable conclusion of the game. I did not feel any particular need to replay it.
