I really wanted to try it out, but ..

I do really remember the exact times when Messiah was out - all the paper magazines were reviewing it - I was amazed about the graphics at that time, and always wanted to try it out. Unfortunately I wasn't able to even get the DEMO version of it. And here we are now, I've finally bought it to try it out. O M G controls are terrible. I've tried to remap it but it doesn't really help - weird 'way' of doing things is really annoying, I've tried to progress in this game but it lacks of any joy during the playtime.

Prepare for salvation

I always loved this game, the gameplay suits me perfectly; a mix between stealth and action. The mood it sets is great, and even if the story isn't the best the varied and fun gameplay makes up for it. Heartily recommended.

Great game, Be aware of bugs

This is a fantastic game, full of humor, stealth, action, and puzzles. It's really a unique concept. I recommend this as a buy to just about anyone, but keep one thing in mind. It is buggy. Really buggy. But the bugs may be fixed soon, since Gog has such a crack team on it. Anyways, be hopeful for fixes, but enjoy the parts of the game you can.

Very atmospheric, hard to run on Win 11

This game is one of my favorites for its original concept and dark, cyberpunk atmosphere. The game mechanics definitely have a learning curve and it needs some tweaking in Windows 11 to launch. I haven't been experienced any crashes since I could launch it, so it is definitly playable after some initial setting up. You may need dgVoodoo compatibility layer to run it. There are good technical guides in the GOG forum.
