Jupiter Hell is a classic, turn-based roguelike set in a 90s flavored sci-fi universe. Set on the moons of Jupiter, the game pits a lone space marine against overwhelming demonic forces. I could go on and on about all of the other bells and whistles, like the importance of spending multitools wisely at upgrade terminals, the incredible procedural generation of the levels and enemies, the more than a dozen modes to play, all of the in-game achievements to earn, and the plentiful secrets, but those are best discovered when you buy this game. If you’ve got a strategic bone in your body, you have to buy this. Go, buy it now. It’s $25 at full price, which might as well be an act of charity considering the quantity and quality of what you’re getting.

Great successor to DRL
As someone who spent hours in DRL and loved it, I cannot but love Jupiter Hell. Yes, it's a rogue-like where you have to weight every step or you die. But at the same time it feels like playing an action game with the adrenaline rush of the demon hordes descending upon you. It's a challenging game, but I would say the difficulty is set well: On easy, you can finish it, well, pretty easy without too much thinking. Beyond that, it gets interesting. I especially like the callenge modes.

Fast and Simple
Many roguelikes are bogged down with content by overzealous developers that make the genre seem hard to approach. This is a refreshing back-to-basics dungeon crawler with fun combat and just enough customization to stay interesting.
