Das original Hollow Knight habe ich durchgespielt und genossen, auch die Herausforderung. Silksong ist mehr vom Gleichen, nur schwerer. Ich weiß nicht ob ich einfach älter geworden bin und die Reflext nicht mehr sind was sie mal waren, aber das ist mir stellenweise schlicht zu viel des Guten. Selbst Trashmob erfordert Taktik, die im großen und ganzen aber aus "werde nicht getroffen" besteht und das ist letztlich nur eines: Zeitraubend. Ein weiterer Knackpunkt für mich ist der Linux Port. Obwohl die Steam Version von Hollow Knight auf diesem Rechner problemlos funktioniert, ist die GOG Version von Silksong de facto unspielbar. Nicht nur dass der Controller falsch belegt ist, er lässt sich nicht einmal neu belegen. Alles andere Funktioniert tadellos, aber ohne Controller ist das Spiel nun einmal unspielbar und jedes mal Windows booten zu müssen ist irgendwie ätzend. Fazit: Muss man ehrlich gesagt nicht haben.

I'm in love...
...once again. I'm addicted to this game as I was to the first one. I'm trying to make it last as long as I can and enjoy it slowly as much as I can. I'm more than 50 hours in and I hope there's a lot more of it. It is hard but it gives you all the tools to overcome every challenge it throws at your face. You have the feeling that you can actually do it a little more every time you try. It rewards you if you persist, do backtracking and explore as much as you can. Every map is so full of life and details that it amazes me. It is exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be happier of how it is.
