GUN™

This game was meant to console, PS2 gen, in every meanings. It's now very dated (graphics and gameplay), and the PC version is just a copy of the console version. What's does that mean? Awful sensibility with a big acceleration you can't disable, auto-aim and lock you can't disable, no advanced graphics enhancements possible in the options, a full screen completely not adapted to modern screens... Really a bad PC game if you ask, don't worth your money.

This might have been a decent game in its day, but it does'nt live up to todays standards. By that, I don't mean graphics-wise, but only that the mechanics are way off. Playing the game on hard setting is impossible, cuz the AI will hit you every time resulting in too much depending on luck to complete the missions. Playing the game on easy-setting gets tedious relatively quick. That being said the graphics are actually quite nice for an old game, and I remember being rather fond of the game, back in the day, since it was the only one of its kind (western-theme-shoot-em-up-sandbox) at the time. Still, this was a nice trip down memory lane, but I would'nt recommend it to newcomers. There are far supererior mgames out there...

After all these years it's still a breath of fresh air! The old west sandbox that Red Dead Redemption only THINKS it invented. With a gritty, serious story and fine voice performances. Combat is works good too, but some of the boss battles just come off as spongy. Only complaint is that graphics suffer a little bit, but thats either because it's lower tech or need for better optimization on GOG. If you love westerns and shooters, this is the game for you.
