Brilliant Game.
As back in the day, I still enjoy playing this and on PC it's better than any console counterpart. Supports 4k at 60+fps. Only issue I have is a few garbled textures. Game looks amazing with Radeon Image Sharpening enabled.

Runs well
Played only briefly, as I didn't really want to start a new game tonight. I just wanted to see how well it worked. I was a little surprised when I started the game and found that it seemed to work in a 32:9 aspect (5120x1440). Midway through the intro though, it became clear that it did so by zooming way too closely. Unfortunately it just didn't really work, and I had to restart in 16:9. From what little I played, it seemed to run well enough though. Having not played the original, I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like, but I look forward to actually playing this game this weekend.

Great Classic comes back!
This is one of my favorite games from the PS2/Xbox era, yes it was on PC as well. I played it on all 3. This is likely the best "Red Dawn" video game you'll ever come across. The difference is for this stories plot is that Soviet Russia has taken over 80% of the world by force. The funny thing is you're a plumber, you are pretty much playing as Luigi since you start the story with you and your brother (who is kinda like Mario, fat and scruffy) on a plumbing job and your brother gets arrested. You need to save New York and fight the Big Red! The game is clearly dated. However it runs very smooth under the new update version for modern systems. A couple issues which im sure they can patch out. Pros - + High Resolutions and Widescreen!!! + Soundtrack + Still fun with cheesy dialogue Cons - - Graphics are still pretty bad lol, but its still good to look at (pro and con?) - This has overlay line issues on the Videos that games/roms running through emulators have when overlays or pixels need to be offset when used at specific or high resolutions. - Mouse Sensitivity needs to be fixed and separated from Menu Mouse Sensitivity. Currently adjusting Mouse sensitivity affects the menues greater than it does in game, so no matter what seems like your camera is really fast especially during aiming. 4.5/5 (cant take half a star away)

You MUST play this game!
This is a game that is very dear to me, you start playing it as a simple third person shooter and will end up selecting your weapons to support your allies by neutralizing defenses while they clean the field, spent 8 hours doing the campaign and I can't thank GOG and IOI enough for bringing it back for sale! The controls are responsive and the AI is actually smart, they get to cover and ambush the enemy with minimal interaction of your part and the soundtrack is great, but may get repetitive after a few stages and there's a ton of ways of dealing with enemies, either by ambushing them or searching for alternate paths or simply luring them with gunshots or grenade explosions so you can light'em up. 10/10 I will fight for freedom again and again!
