A game that truly shows what made Interplay games outstanding. As an ending to the story that started in Fallout 1 and continued through Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics, it truly did an outstanding job at ending the tale of Fallout. "War. War never changes." 4 and 76 had this potential... See 3 was something else it came out of nowhere janky as it was undoubtedly still an instant classic. New Vegas drops and takes everything great about Fallout and makes it better then somehow all these years later the heights that were reached here were never topped. Sure, the latest title probably has better graphics and perhaps it'll be less buggy albeit probably not Bethesda still appears to use this ancient engine idk I picked up Starfield it felt empty less clever lacking wit perhaps The Outer Worlds 2 will scratch my Obsidian itch

Great game for being an open world rpg with shooter elements added into it. In comparison to fallout 3 the armor system now actually has components to it that matter, enemies are much more versatile than before, and the story is well versed with different options on how you want to go through/end it. Obsidian overall did well with a budget time of a year from Bethesda. However with all this in mind, there are a some mods that are recommended to fix some of the bugs/mistakes left behind. Recommended: NOTE: FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager recommended for installing most if not all mods) Yukichigai Unofficial Patch - YUP - fixes bugs and errors that wern't already addressed in the final update. Unofficial Patch Plus - The same as above however it includes more bugfixes that couldn't be added to YUP's mod because of the no plugin limitation. Vanilla UI Plus - Fixes some of the bugs in the UI that weren't already fixed; While also adding expanding the UI for a more PC friendly view. New Vegas Stutter Remover - Fixes some of the stuttering that can/could be noticed ingame as well as feel smoother or perform better. Jsawyer mod or Jsawyer Ultimate Edition (for a more modern/updated version) - Amps up the difficulty without making enemies bullet sponges, so consider if you want a more fallout experience than vanilla. Optional: Manual Reload v2 - Stops guns from magically reloading if you reequip or switch to another weapon and go back to the original one. Clarity - Removes the orange tint added throughout the entire game, including dlc Uncut Wasteland - If you want to re-add some of the stuff cut from the original games production due to console limitations/budget constraints

New Vegas is the best Fallout 3D. This is a really good game, the variety of consequences surpases some modern titles with no problems. Play this game if you are tired of nuclear themed parks.
