New Vegas, Best Fallout

Undoubtedly the best one in the 3D series. Good story, interesting characters, cool quest and, perhaps most important, a world so immersive that it's hard to part ways, even when you've finished it four or five times already. Not to forget: unlike the bethesda games, Obsidian's gem actually lets you be whoever you want to be. There's no father or child to be saved, it's just you, the mysterious courier, carving his/her path through the wilderness of the mojave.

Great game despite crashes

A great game with a great campaign and side quests worth playing. It's just that when I first started playing this game, I couldn't play the game. The game kept crashing after the first cutscene, and I almost gave up. Fortunately I found out that I had to turn off the gog galaxy app entirely. Once I did that, it finally let me play the game.

A worthy successor

After the very disappointing Fallout 3, New Vegas manages to tell a compelling story with meaningful choices in a world that is a joy to explore. You can really feel the passion that went into this game. One of the (if not THE) best rpgs of the decade.

Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate

Still the best Fallout (after 1 and 2) that is out there. All those people complaining it crashes on win10 or some such, aren't aware 8or have no clue) that you need mods to get it to work properly without crashing (including a mod that makes the game aware of 64 instead of 32). I've had this game since release and had been waiting for it to be on a sale here to get it. That day has come. Thanks GOG.

The game was rigged from the start..

Best RPG ever, best DLCs ever as well (included) - so good it's hard to point the best (but probably Old World Blues for its sense of humour and nostalgia). Maybe the most modded game with the exception of Skyrim. Played it to death again and again. Main drawbacks being it's way too short :D, it doesn't take into account that the player will want to do everything in the world (which causes him/her to become to level up too powerful too fast unless you mod the game to slow levelling up). With the exception of the newest Wasteland (which is a completely different RPG) there isn't anything that molds itself around the player's decisions so deeply. Stop reading reviews, go play it! I suggest a boycott of Bethesda unless they let Obsidian dev New Vegas II.
