Eradicator

A forgotten relic of FPS greatness. Eradicator is full on co-op and has some of the most ridiculous weapons in 90s shooters. The remote control car bomb is just beautiful!

Three playable Characters + some voice acting, Many guns + remote controllable enemies, explosive robots and turrets, A good amount of inventory items, Different types of enemies, Ok level design + secrets, Cosmic space atmospheric music and nice sound effects, Tip: to active secret weapons double tap the weapon number and it will active if you have ammo for it

wenn ich ein retro spiel installiere habe ich eine einerseits die grosse nostalgie ein uraltes spiel weider neu entdecken zu können. leider entdeckt man bei gewissen klassikern auch, dass sie gnadenlos veraltet sind. ich sachen steuerung, levelaufbau und spieltechnisch ist eradicator dann doch recht in die jahre gekommen. kam/kommt technisch niemals an ids doom oder 3d realms duke nukem ran. auch andere retro klassiker machen eine bessere in die jahre gekommene figur wie dieses game. macht mir persönlich überhaupt keinen spass "mehr". eine generalüberholung wäre wohl an der zeit.

This is a personal favorite of mine from when I was a kid or a teenager or whatever I was when it first came out. Come to think of it I may still have the original disc laying around somewhere. Younger people might be turned off by it, but I think it still holds up quite nicely. Fun, challenging, and fairly lengthy.

Eradicator is an obscure FPS of the 90' era that offers gameplay (and gunplay) similar to its big names of the same genre, but with interesting implemented puzzles, objectives and creative gameplay. on top of that, the game offers probably the most unique variety of guns both in function and feelings, and it offers theme in abundance (i think it is safe to say that Eradicator it's the fps that offers the most numerous numbers of guns of all time? I played almost all of the doom-like( 90' fps) and fps in general, and I have never see such abundance). In addition, it also offers 3 different characters with different starting levels, and also said characters have different guns! ( Gun-inception!) Downsides? the game graphics are really old (actually, it goes beyond outdated), final cutscene needs working with the dos box in order to work and the levels are simply too dark in general. Still, completely worth it since it offers some very unique gameplay and approach to this genre.
