Very atmospheric

The setup works perfectly. You are in control of some robots, exploring space derrelicts while you are "safe" in your own ship docked to the other. You can feel the surroundings through the bad image and maps. The sounds and concept is built to mess with your imagination. You feel helpless, and can actually get scared or startled there. Not for everyone, but a great gaming experience.

Through a console, darkly.

I installed this game on a basic i5 windows 10 corporate laptop with intel GPU while traveling, It ran just fine at native resolution with "fantastic quality" enabled. The basic graphics add rather than detract from the experience because the whole thing sets itself up as trying to see and understand a world through a limited interface, the excellent sound really helps you stay immersed. I stayed up late, alone at the console in a dead universe, sipping on stimulant laced vapors (ecig), this was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I've had in years. I feel like this game is System Shock 2 meets FTL meets... Minesweeper. Don't pick this up just to gawk at the console, play it when you have some time to let your imagination run as that's what this game is about. I feel like this game is well worth the full price. I've heard this compared to the movie Alien a lot, and I do see a lot of that in it, but I also am reminded a lot of the Vernor Vinge novel Fire Upon the Deep, curious if anyone else thought of that. Also I have so far played over 4 different days for a total of about 7 hours an not experienced a single crash.

Intense, Strategic, Engrossing

You would never expect that the graphics in this game would provide so much immersion. I use a core i5 HP laptop with no upgrades and it runs very well (although, the occasional framerate drop does not impact gameplay and only adds to the immersion). As a big fan of strategy and survival (...and the Alien movies...), I can say whole-heartedly that this game is worth a purchase

Review of Duskers

First of all: This game is awesome, pure love. I love it since I seen it somwhere, then I watched some videos, and bought it on GoG. Personally, I'm a coder, so I like this command giving console driven envoriment. The game is really fun, deep, logical, and it force You , to use your brain. The atmosphere is deep and dark, I feel like I'm the only one in the universe, and I need to survive. I take my drones as my family, and I need to keep them in good shape. Just buy it, shut down the lights, close the door, put your headset in, and just play, it's relaxing and fun. Thanks Misfits Attic!

Raw and hostile entertainment

Eerie, atmospheric and tense. Your attachment issues will surface when you are forced to make a choice for the betterment of the mission. Your greed will be punished, your mistakes will bear mortal fruit. You'll jump out of fright, excitement or occasionally, joy. You'll come back for more.
