The Inescapable Human Condition

Incredible atmosphere, characters, story, writing, world, gameplay... literally everything about this game is absolutely extraordinary. Everyone should play through it at least once, if only to gain a better understanding of the absurdity of our world mirrored so truthfully in the game. Of course, ever since the ultraliberalist takeover of the company that made this game and the 'execution' of its writers you may want to re consider buying this game directly and further enriching these perfect examples of the worst humanity has to offer...

good, goofy & flabbergasting fantastic

come for the plot come for the narration, the voice acting come for the musix come for the hilarious conversations come for misbehaving drunkenly and ending up screaming into the microphone come for investigating come for discovering a rare phasmid come for the whole shebang of awesome world creation that will leave you laughing your head, fall in love with some of the characters (and hate others) and Stay(s with you) forever! Long live Kras Mazov!

True Original Eye Opener

Best written game I have ever played. The game intentionally forces you against what a player plays to escape from. Yet the grading feeling of an exaggerated reality tickles the palate as a brand new savory dish you will remember as a stand-out from all the hundreds of derivative sugar-rush titles. Stick with it and feel the reward coming as the longer you play it, the more depth you'll discover. Disco Elysium is a world-view changing learning experience. A story and art that mocks life only to betray its secrets. It is a mask-off moment that teaches what lies behind the lives we all go through.
