Great fun :)

This was the first point and click game I have ever played so I was quite unsure of what I was getting myself into. Nevertheless, Deponia is a great game that has quite a few honestly hilarious moments. The only gripe that I experienced was that some of the puzzles were a bit too abstract (however, that may just be my inexperience with the genre) and required lateral thinking to a degree I was unused to. Overall however, a really fun, albeit short, game.

So Lucas Arts'y

The game really reminds of Lucas Arts' old-school quests, like Day of the Tentacle or Monkey Island, especially regarding humor: you know, a bit of plain stupidity, a measure of awkward situation and spoonful of protagonist's inflated ego. Deponia shows how you can make the player do a lot of things over the short period of in-game time – most part of the game is spent while trying to wake up Goal, the main character's... significant other, let's say so. It is really worth checking out, especially if you miss the spirit of Lucas Arts' adventures.

A game from the old School

A great point and click game. When i played it, i remembered classics like Monkey Island, or Fate of Atlantis. if you like the truly adventures, you have to play it. Una gran aventura grafica. Me hizo volver el tiempo atras, hacia la epoca dorada de las aventuras graficas. Totalmente recomendable, y con un humor poca veces visto en juego de PC.

Good, But flawed

Deponia is a certainly clever game, the writing is on point, its paced well, and its very pretty, even if the faces do seem very similar. but that doesn't mean the game is perfect. first off the music is pretty repetitive, when i was frustrated i got tried of the fact that intro notes in kuvaq, as i was so frustrated with a certain puzzle. the puzzles aren't hard on their own, just a bit moon logic based, like using an embellishment with chewing gum to create a sling shot without ammo, and the game doesn't tell you that you can push space to show what items are clickable, so i felt like i was pixel-hunting at time when items just blend with the scenery. i also found the sound quality kinda off, some characters, but most especially the main love interest have a problem with mic quality, they sound recorded in a different room. but the major problem is the price and length, the game is very short, with me beating it in only 4 hours, but the game is priced at 10 dollars, not a horrible price, but it feels more like episode 1 of a series than a single game, and kinda asks you to buy games 2 and 3, which cost a good amount more and might have the same length, so asking for 50 dollars altogether is very unreasonable in my mind, the recommendation is to get the game with the sequels when they go on sale
