Too big to be polished

Graphical design of the world is great except where low resolution textures were shown. Characters model are ok. Animations are sloppy. The game has a lot of graphical bugs. NPCs and items popping out of no where. NPC leaning on invisible walls or vehicles. Invisible items and weapons (not loading). Audio is ok. There are several audio bugs. The music doesn't load when entering some clubs, you'll see people dancing in a silent atmosphere. Characters dialogue will sometimes play while having another dialogue already in progress with another character Sometimes even the same character. The writing/narrative has the emotional maturity of teenagers for an adult cast of characters. Most of the choices given during gameplay had no impact on the story and were just placed there to give the illusion of choice to the player (one example that comes to mind that demonstrates this; when I chose not to punch the man recording Alt's death only to see my character punching the man after the end of the time limit). Basically, the choices that alters gameplay/narrative are a few and the majority of choices are in the game just there for fluff/padding and to appeal to players who love having a "choice" when it really wasn't a choice that has any impact in the first hand. The gameplay is bad. hacking isn't as good as in the Watch_dogs series. Melee combat lacks finesse. Shooting and gunplay doesn't reach the quality levels of modern shooters. Level design doesn't offer a lot of flexibility or variety for a game of this scope/budget/development time. Items looting sometimes get bugged and you won't be able to pick up items. User interface is a mess, Bad inventory management system & crafting system. Items disappearing from inventory. Equipment getting unequipped very often. Sometimes UI elements stack over each other and out of their intended place. Overall, the game excels in one aspect only; graphics, The game's huge scope is what leads to its own downfall.

This game is a 5/5 in a year maybe. I will not refund my game because I'm still having fun with it and the story (didn't finish everything, but played 31 hours doing gigs and making my street creed over 20). Problems: >had small bugs but they are still anoying and sometimes I need to restard the game (like hands becoming invisible). Never had crashes orbig frame drops so gj on that). > You gave me so many costumizations but they all suck. I can't remake V from the trailer and what I can make it sucks. Very limited and useless. I would've been okay to be default and work on polishing the game more. >The story has no real choices. Sure, I have nomad, corp or street kid but in the end you just get a different intro and doesn't change your fate from the start in any way. It was fine if you just made a standard story and just add in 1-2 places a different paths to the story. Example: why does it matter if I backstab Dex? Nothing changes, I don't get a different ending to the introduction. > The gameplay is nothing special. I expected more brutal animations or anything. I have assassin, mele, hacking... but none are well polished and entertaining as it should be. Mele needs more animations and more barbaric stuff, assassin more ninja and less grandmother mode, hacking more coder on steroids that controlls technology with one button and less cable guy who tries for one hour to install an antena.

It's ok game, but lacking on some parts

It's good game, no crashes but has it's graphical issues and gameplay issues. Main disapointment is that romance options are horible. It looks like they spend more time on creating character with any kind of genetelia or voice. But options for romance compared with for example mass effect 2/3 are just trash. It's nice that they have their own story, but only one option for eatch sexuality is just not horrible. That part of roleplay is destroyed. It could be expanded but no on will do that... only modders will add this later I hope. Few issues noticed: Graphical issues, popping characters, cars on road go missing as you turn camera. Flying cigaretes and beveranges. AI is just OK, it's kind a works. Police is like a joke. And Romance options are horible. Other things are ok, looks great and works great as well. Streets look amazing. But at current state I would wait half a year at least to polish things out, maybe a year. All in all it's ok game, saw much worse. Score from me: 7/10

game feels incomplete

I’ve been enjoying cyberpunk 2077 but it still feels a bit incomplete it’s missing a bunch of stuff I think is standard in a game like this here are some examples -Ways to customise character after initial character creation( hair, tattoos things like that) -Ai for police so they actually give chase -A way to customise vehicles even if just changing their colour Those are just a few things that make me feel that the game is kinda incomplete

I'm not buying their next game

The only thing that is really good is the graphics, amount of detail and lightning is just amazing. It really is visually well desinged game. Other than that theres not much else that would make game worth the purchase. Starting with gameplay mechanics - shooting is mediocre, hacking is just plain boring and stealth is too easy but still takes long and there is no point (reward) for doing it. Driving is abysmal (awful controling and AI makes it a pain), it takes ages to get anywhere and its the main way to get around. Also the navigation on minimap is impossible to follow as it doesn't zoom out. Map itself is so cluttered and unreadable its useless. Fast traveling points are not named so I just guessed most of the time. Verticality may be nice idea but its not really "gamer friendly" (elevators tahe forever). Crafting has no point, progression is so fast, its way better to just equipe random weapon you find thats higher level. Invenotry is thus useless as its just cyling loot-sell. And the same goes for skill tree, if I'd never open it, I'd never notice any difference. But the real problem, the reason why I bought this game, is the story and its chracters. The story is predictable. its chliche and it doesn't venture into any real problematic topics. It doesn't portray the world as absurd or really anything. It barley addresses it at all. It shows no though life, struggles, its hollow. And same goes for characters that have no depth at all. I don't care about anyone. And V, I "made" the character thus I'd expect some freedom in the path he takes, the morals he has. But I don't get that freedom and I have no idea why he'd have some of his opinios and it feels forced. Also side misisons go in the same bin as main story and the world has no interesting side activites. Its empty. Also shops are useless. Oh and also phone is the worst. Bugs weren't that bad imo. TLDR; Graphics are great, but story doesn't deliver (not even close) and gameplay is (below) average.
