Cyberpunk 2077

Mouse wrong way round, can't fix Can't rebind keys, can't fix Not even started yet...

T-body npcs, missing clothing in the mirror. No external view for main char. Cant play on 2k, forget about 4 k, optimization is non existent. I9 and 1080Ti do well about 60 fps on 1080p ULTRA preset. Anything beyond 1080p is absolute mess.

Too many bugs: visual, auditory, gameplay and systematically. There is clearly cut content, a lack of interaction with things in Night City, AI is horrendous (combat, driving NPCs, MAX-TAC), customisation for V is underwhelming... story moves too fast and isn't engaging... The gunplay, driving, graphics and stealth/hacking are fantastic however. The game needs another 6 months or a year to bake.

Overhyped. It is a good game with a lot of technical bugs. I think CDPR bit too much that it can chew with all this 'next gen' stuff. It obvious that this game is NOT next gen and its NOT looking great and its NOT well optimised (for PC). Story wise its good. 8 hours in and i enjoy it looking up to what is next. Choises matter? I dont know yet, i make some choises but i dont know do they change the game. Gameplay is a bit odd. I was left wondering how to do one thing or the other even with tutorials on. Menus are weird to navigate trough. Skill trees are difficult to realize what will you need so i just level up what i feel might need just because i need sertain amout of points to use a skill or action (hope i dont fall flat on my face later into the game). Its possible they will improve the game but for now i can give only 3 stars as i enjoy only the story so far.

I am unsure about this game, Cyberpunk is at its heart an alright game, but there are several factors that I think are problematic - The game design feels dated, like something made in the early 2010's, with some sections reminding me of Assassin's creed, mainly with the Gigs; multiple go in and steal/kill/hack said object and leave area. - PC controls are "interesting", there isn't anything inherently wrong with them, however having double tap movement key for dash, no dedicated holster button or the skip button being the same as the crouch button can get quite frustrating. - There are too many gameplay affecting bugs, I have encountered a bug where I can't use any motorbikes because the front wheel clips through the ground, I can't tell you how many floating phones, T-posing civs and immortal enemies I have encountered in the first 5 hours. - The game includes a stealth tree, however the stealth in this game is almost non existent, it seems like enemies have a 180 degree cone of visibility and anything outside that cone doesn't exist, simple and not effective I don't believe that these issues are from overhyped expectations, rather it is from a rushed development cycle, I think about what the initial promises were back when the game was first announced and how much they have had to cut back since then, I would argue that instead of spending time and money into putting Keanu in the game, more time and money should of been used for QA or keep the more complex ideas in the game and take more time developing it. I will continue to play this game until I have finished it, but for newcomers I would recommend you wait around a year after launch, most bugs and issues will be solved by then, just like the Witcher 3.
