Cyberpunk 2077

just good,not great

The game is clearly a game that has everything to be one of the biggest if not the biggest RPG game in history. But... I did not say that he is and that is because he was undeniably released before his time, without being complete and missing a lot, apart from the noticeable limitations he suffered. I still believe in CDPR and I believe that I am like many awaiting the company's redemption by fixing and completing the game. If responsible executives are aware of this above the "profit" issue, they will certainly recover credit and return to the level of one of the best companies in existence and respect for the consumer. Otherwise, it is good that they profit a lot before closing the doors in the future, because this game was a caress and a punch in the face at the same time.

Two complete playthroughs with two different builds. I enjoyed the game and overall it is objectively passable. It is fun to play but the experience of the incredible world they built starts to wear off about 12 hours in. City feels very flat because you start to notice the tricks they used to make it appear deep initially. Many very poor design choices make what should have been an incredible game extremely mediocre in reality. Expect to forget this game in a year w/o some serious course corrections. A few observations below: Highs 1. Incredible graphics & item design. 2. Incredible soundtrack. 3. Interesting characters. You are my boy Goro! I restarted my first playthrough because I couldn't revert back far enough to make a different choice in your storyline! 4. Combat feels right. I think it is a highlight of the game but play on hard (at least). You just steamroll everything with a well tuned character. Lows 1. MMO level grind. 2. Why are there even fixers in the game? The devs just vomited every single mission onto the map. Vapid fixers keep constantly calling me. I never bothered to meet several of them in person unless the main quest required it. The system is a step back from the Witcher 3 Notice Board--a game that takes place in the equivalent of the Middle Ages. 3. There are no activities except go to bars, say one unique dialog, and order the same consumables. WHY no cyberpunk Gwent?! Goldmine...just saying. 3. Car buying system is terrible. You have to go to messages to look at pictures of the cars then hopefully remember the name and find the 'travel to the vehicle location' quest. Just lazy design... 4. No customization. You can't customize your car. RNG drops are the only way to get interesting clothes. You can't change your appearance. You can't customize your dwelling. You can't customize weapons. The RNG drops a nova tier weapon but I hate using it because it has a pink stock and it doesn't fit with my character.

after 90 hours i can safely say this game is unfinished. long time gog fan but frankly this game's a mess. should be marked as early access.

yes i was hyped for cyberpunk 2077: i have spent a lot of hours in the game since its release, played two times, finished most of the gigs. expecting a game changing rpg, expecting something new, something fresh. what did we get? a breathtaking city - sure. a first person shooter - meh a cyberpunk game where hacking is pretty rudimentary - what?? story: yes, but ... nothing really sticks. there is corporations, there is cyberpsychos, there are gangs, there is politics, there is personal threads, there is wild ais. and whatever you do: you don't really make an impact: things don't evolve. you kill, you collect/infiltrate/transport, you get your eddies. then you upgrade your gear and your cybermods. rinse, repeat for another faction. and if you want to stay yourself at the end - good luck with that. at least you killed a lot of people for nothing. no effect at all how much of you is still human and how much is artificial/chrome. hell you don't even know why you chose to become a merc rather than a joytoy, a gang member, a fixer, a rockstar, a braindance editor or ... you want to become a night city legend by killing your way to the top just: because. some deeply immersive scenes like fighting with panam and swimming with judy (why are they not bi - and btw that's the only difference your own gender makes in the game) once you romanced them they go on with their lives - you get a spot to put your stuff, that's it. you meet tarot cards and buddhist monks - and just like in real life it's like: allright - nice. but the real problem is broken immersion: you basically have a "mega"-city the size of manhattan - with far less skyskrapers - and once you leave its borders you are out in nature. and you have cyberspace - the deepest layer of the net - and you don't go there, except once or twice. even though you think you are the best netrunner in the city. so yep: cyperpunk 2077 ladies & gents, boys and girls. oh and: don't expect sex there - no touching.
