Cyberpunk 2077

I'm personnally glad the game was released in 2020. I'm mean, cyberpunk is the cherry on top of the s**t cake that is 2020. Game is unplayable unless played on high-grade hardware.With an average of 25 FPS it's like watching the more expensive slideshow ever made. The story is great ,sure ! But it's kinda their specialty so I goddam hope it's great. But still, no way to enjoy it with the world collapsing at every cinematics. Gun fight are meeeh, and let's not talk about the drive mechanics which is ... I don't know, english isn't my first language so I having difficulty to find a synonym for "utterly sucks". So many design choices where you ask yourself "why would you even try to do that ?". I mean you'd better stick to what you know. "Yeah but they're working hard to make the game better". Yeeaaah, if every mistakes they wanna fix cost me 45GB on my SSD I might give up cyberpunk before it's stable. Understand me, I don't want to delete games which perfectly works (that how you uselly do), for a broken ass game. In conclusion of my long rant, I would like to share my thought with CD projekt community manager : if you manage to get through this shitstorm you lives, next game it would be a good idea to you know, maybe play it a bit more humble ? Because so far the "futur of gaming" "best experience in video game, blablabla" doesn't work very well for you does it ? Next time if there is (and I sincerly wish you to make a next game even if you screwed me), next time don't act like some kind of Jesus of game development "We are different", "We are arstists". Right now, you're no better than EA ... Again I'm glad it happen in 2020. I wouldn't handle the deception well in the start of a new year. But this disapointment is just one shit stone in a large brown pond. Game sucks, I'm pissed, it's your fault, get your shit together, get off your high horse, and still good luck for what's coming next. And that's how you use properly your 2000 caracters to complain

At first i want to bring my condolences to the dev team. If even half of what we can read in internet about how development was going is true, it's very sad. Good things about the game: 1) Atmosphere and immersion(if you can really not notice glitches), the first game where i barely used fast travel and i want to drive around the city Questionable things about the game: 1) Main story. Personally i have a mixed fillings about it. For me it's too short if you not doing side quests and i feel like they rushed it. 2) Side quests. Some of them are good and some of them here just to fulfill the map of empty world with makers(i'm talking about every side quest: police events, gigs and secondary tasks) Bad things about the game: 1) Optimization and bugs. Not much to comment. Even on high end setups you can get poor fps. 2) Broken AI 3) Broken police 4) Linear action looter-shooter, but not rpg(choices doesn't matter really, only few of them to open some endings), lifepaths just a placeholder that won't change anything 5) Redundant skill trees(every build become too OP very fast due to broken balance) 6) Broken craft system 7) Lack of content because CDPR cutted it off since they missed all deadlines 8) A lot of little things that ruin whole game experince in general(you can complete the game using 1 script basically if you are playing as netrunner build, access points give you same amount of money/materils despite their "difficulty" and etc) So PR and false advertisment ruined the game and CDPR's reputation for me. They rised people's expectations and failed to deliver what they promised. This is not CDPR i known, but just another case that showed me that you can't trust companies nowadays. This really makes me sad. Mb they really will fix the techical problems, but would they fix gameplay and balance problems? Only time will judge. I still have a bit of hope that CDPR can make a come back.

It's a decent game but that doesn't make up for it being a buggy mess and if you're considering buying you should wait until they patch it. Performance is decent once I managed to stop it crashing, it really didn't like AMD-V active. Story is fun but lacks the storytelling I loved in The Witcher 3 and it seems they took lessons from Ubisoft for the side activites, after the prologue I opened the map to see hundreds of icons for mini activites, many of which were go to the place and shoot the thing. The AI is virtually non-existant and by that I mean the NPCs drive on a grid, this includes the police making getaways REALLY easy and the NPSs barely notice you exist, it seems a massive step back from TW3. Pros: • Story is decent (nothing groundbreaking) • Gameplay in general is fun • When it works the framerate is pretty consistant Cons: • Seems to crash with AMD-V active (might just be my specific build as I haven't seen any other reports of this) • Side activities are generic • The bugs, oh the bugs TL;DR Wait at least a few months before buying.

Half finished game with game and immersion breaking bugs. I played maybe 10 hours but decided that it's not worth playing at this time, and this is after the 1.6 patch. I think that they should have delayed this for maybe a year or more because it's a good game with great characters and story. I shouldn't really compare this to the Witcher 3, but it's the only other game from them that I played, and it was so good it felt nothing anything I played before. So I really didn't expect a game like this to come out from the same company, what the frak happened?

The game is the disappointment at launch day until the present day (January). Even in a good PC, the game is unplayable due to the amount of bugs. It is an unpleasant experience that, I decided to stop playing and wait for more 3-6 months to see if CDPR is going to fix it properly. I believe so, I hope so!
