QTE rather than RPG
In theory a good game, but more a spammy qte(quick time event) lottery than anything else. You donät really have time to read the descriptions, the UI is a disaster that do not tell you anything. No mandatory actions like going to work can be automated, you cant designate zones for certain types of cards so you get a big incomprehensible mess. You can also slot things into actions without them having any effect on ongoing actions screwing you over, if you swap with an active item. So I more get the feeling of doing random actions that have random consequenses than being a cultist. I have had one win and one loss so far, no idea of the story behind the game since there is no time to get into the lore, got a lot of cards with timers I never really understood the purpose of, and I still do not really know why i won or lost. The fact that you have despair as a loss condition and gain it randomly, and it can only be counteracted by another card with a way shorter timer you get randomly, kinda ruins the game, turns it into more of a lottery than a RPG experience.
