wish I could play it
Downloaded this game with hopes of playing it but alas wasnt meant to be. Im running windows 11 and it just crashes at startup. someone fix this please.

Great game, tech issues on windows 11
Had to install some russian patch from a moddb link that a GoG Support article provides, just to be able to launch the game. Then every time I launch it, my monitors go bonkers and there is a chance that I gotta kill the process via task manager and relaunch the game. And every time I transition from menu to gameplay and viceversa, the monitor seizures occur and the chance repeats. A sad review because i really really loved this game when I was a kid and now my replaying experience is being affected by these tech issues :( really frustrating but I'm really enjoying the game!!

conquest frontier wars
i put the game in all i get is a black screen:( put in my wife computer she get a black screen:( we both have good video cards - (evga 660 gforce) (i got a radeon r7870 core edition) both computer has windows 7 - 64) 1tb harddriver on both and 24gb of memory) it download ok. it just set there with a black screnn:( i cant rat the game because i dont know what the problem is:( let me know what you think:) i did put 5 you all like it:)

I joined GOG for this
I remember years ago when this came out, I was younger and didn't have things like a credit card, or a job.... I used to download and play demos for hours back when computer demos seemed to be a bigger thing than they are today. The demo of this game took hundreds of hours from me, I played the one skirmish map for a year. I could not get over how amazing this game was. Especially for breaking out of the RTS genre and being unique. I later bought the disc and had one of the greatest real time strategy experiences of my lifetime. In the SCI-FI RTS department this game is number one. It should of been a cult favorite, it was another overlooked or skipped over game. PS ------ THIS GAME WORKS FINE ON WINDOWS 7 AND 8 NOW
