Old issues in a new coat

A full 3D CRPG in the style of fallout 1-2? sounds great. Unfortunately this game is so commited to be like fallout that does the same mistakes, the interface is as bad as in those old games, inventory management is a nightmare, no matter what you go for, you will always start underpowered, if you build your character at the start to be a gunslinger, tough luck, you are stuck with a brick as your first weapon, dialogues do not show you your chances to succeed in a conversation, is it a percentage, is it a hard skill check, you wish you knew. If the game is this aggresively obtuse at the start I don't wanna imagine how bad it's gonna be later, so I stopped after half an hour. It's ok to be inspired by another franchise, but you should look at them and ask yourselves "how can we make it better"

Most of people play to short to known

Old style game with small slowly progress and steady play. The game is designed for very long play and I am grinding 100h and still the level is not so big and evolve tree. For me is kinda relaxing to make a small thing and deep dive in this sick funny world.

Cool fallout like game

Cool fallout like game, not for the faint hearted though as it really has some rough edges and needs more polish. You can actually go to quite a few places start quests etc. just to discover that your character is way to weak yet and can't finish em without going back and leveling up. Apart from that weakness I find it an excellent game for the price and I have already played hours without loosing motivation. A real gem, with some rough edges...

True successor of the Fallout genre

In short the game is true to the Fallout genre. I would even say that it surpasses FO 2 in terms of content. The gameplay is very similar to FO1 and FO2 (I guess on intent). You will found all the elements of a good RPG as well as the good dark humor (as expected). Strongly recommended for all fans of FO1 and FO2 and CRPG's.

After finishing for the second time

I was really hesitating to buy this game at first, but first positive reviews from Fallout series fans changed my mind. And after finishing it for the second time, this time on expert level, I can admit I'm thinking about playing it for the third time. And each gameplay will be unique. You can't master all skills, therefore you can be a sniper, diplomat, thug, martial arts guru or simply extremely trained survivalist or you can mix all basic skills of each developement branch. The atmosphere is perfect. As a person who remember communism from kid's perspective, this is so much like if this era didn't end, but evolved under very extreme circumstances. If you have to run away from 3 drunken peasants armed with broken glass, because the will surely beat you, you feel challenged by the game's reality. Don't count on armor too much because you might get knocked down and surrounded. This game will not show you where to go or what to do, you have to work it out. TLDR: If you miss Fallout 1 & 2 play this russian Fallout 3.
