Highly Recommend
Would definitely recommend Achilles Legends Untold, under 1 proviso, that being - You own a Gamepad and wish to play the game on a Gamepad. I began playing on M+K and found the game though playable, quite clunky with some actions just not working as they should or difficult to pull off with key presses, such as Roll instead of run. Also having to use Keys for your movement constantly combined with the mouse for attacks and tagging enemies meant having to hit other keys for potions or throwing items meant sacrificing either movement or attack. Once a gamepad is used the game becomes much more enjoyable. Set in Ancient Greece ( kind of ) it's an ARPG where they've tried to make Boss fights more engaging and tactical and for the most part they have pulled this off really well. Add into this regular combat where enemies can be equiped with different weapons requiring variation in tactics to be more efficient. The Game has a Dark Souls alike system where you are teleported back to the last Shrine ( A-La Bonfire ) and also implement the recollect dropped Exp Points, though the game itself isn't as punishing or frustrating as a Soulslike by a long shot. Getting back to the Target Lock/Select when using a Gamepad a Right Click on the Stick locks and Flicking the same Stick Up or Down alters quickly who you are Tagging, this ability transforms combat. So, yes can defo recommend, get your Brad Pitt styled Troy ARPG / Soulsy fix. It's a great game and has it's own identity / playstyle.
