Nothing bad to say.

This was an absolutely perfect experience. Perfect pixel art. Great writing for characters. Just the right amount of exploration to where it doesn't feel overwhelming. I actually feel like i can 100% this game. It only took a little over an hour to get to the top, and then it feels like the game opened wide to let me go even further around the island. So rewarding. Lots of stuff to collect, lots of treasure maps and riddles to solve. A handful of tasks to try to complete to earn gear that helps improve your ability to explore. It's like a super mini version of an open world exploration RPG... Minus the leveling up and stuff. Add great relaxing music, great sound effects, and lovable characters and you have a home-run of a game. Also... You should try using the pick axe when playing Beachstickball... That's all I'll say about that. Let's just say it's fun. The Dev's thought of everything here.

Delightful and wholesome

Took me about an hour, but there was more to do if I so chose. That means there is some replayability. Getting to the peak was suitably challenging. I felt rewarded for completing the game, but not unduly challenged. The music is wonderful and everything is simple but effective. If you want a chill-out kind of game, this is easy to recommend.

More like this please!

There's not much I can say that others haven't already said, but it's a cute little game and I would love to see more like this. I really hope this developer continues to work on projects like these, whether it be a sequel or just something similiar. There isn't a whole lot of world-building or anything, but what's there leaves me wanting to explore more of it and go on these little adventures. It's also a pretty well built and smooth game, though sometimes the fixed camera can be a touch annoying. Beyond that, there's not much I can complain about for what it is. Though, it would be nice if the game made it explicitly clear when the game is about to end, as I hadn't yet explored the entire island before reaching the end and didn't realize I'd be starting over. I had already planned to play it over again though so it's not really a huge deal. Absolutely worth every cent and more. :)

100% chill vibes

It is my first review of a game ever and it took only 2 hours for me to finish this game, but what an experience it was: it had everything I always wanted in a game: a small open world, gorgeous and unique graphics, a whole lot of quests, mini games and npc's as well as a grind free and chill experience. I really enjoyed being able to use the boat as well as fly and feel free to explore everything I want. This is my favourite game of the year so far and i'm really looking forward to see more from its creator. Don't miss this game, it's really worth your money.
